Yup! I can see the big hole. Is this why you covered it with plastic?
Oh, it looks like I covered it with plastic or something, doesn't it? Whatever that covering is, it is natural to the plant.
Looks like slug damage to the leaf. Not sure about the hole in the iris flower though. Pesky insects!
