A Little Gardening Humour

"I have a rock garden. Last week three of them died."
~ Richard Diran

The good news is, I spoke too soon about my 'Ankums Pride' cranesbill (hardy geranium). It has new growth the last time I checked.

Oh, and these must be the three rocks that died:

No, it's actually a photo of my climbing hydrangea. And tucked off to the left behind where the daffodils are now, a columbine will soon enough be blooming in this quiet, unremarkable bit of garden along the east fence.

So nice to see that spring has finally sprung in your Canadian garden too Karen! Beautiful bulbs in your last posts! That's like spring should look like.

We've experienced more summer like weather here for the last weeks from march until yesterday. Very unsual I can tell you! We had 44 days without a drop of rain and temperatures around 20 some days almost up to 30 degrees celsius, but tonight it has finally rained, what a relief for nature and my garden of course and my water invoice too! Everything is so forwarded here! Come on over and have a look at my summer garden pics from April and May 2007 lol Carol xox
